Tennessee is likely to experience a rapid rise up the Wedge Index rankings after legalizing sports betting, which was something of a surprise for a state famed for its lack of gambling options.
There are some small state lotteries in Tennessee and the state does allow horse racing betting but legal sports betting is a new thing for residents of the Volunteer State and will result in a dramatic change in Wedge Index ranking.
