Dealware was the first state to allow for any kind of sports betting following the repealing of PASPA in 2018 with the three casinos in the state immediately taking bets on sporting events.
This was natural as a form of pools parlay betting had been in place before PASPA and so it was back to normality for many residents, who would like to place a weekend pick-em accumulator.
There hasn’t been any progress made to adapt to digital betting though, with those from ‘The First State’ having to still cross a border to place any kind of online bet.
Both states experience drop in revenue in November in large part due to lack of online options and remote registration.
