The Pennsylvania-licensed sportsbook brand Unibet has launched the “first ever professional sports-themed casino games” in the US igaming market.
The bookmaker has partnered with the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team and online casino platform specialist Pala Interactive to launch the ‘Eagles Blackjack’ and the ‘Eagles Online Slot’.
Unibet is the official online betting and casino partner of the Philadelphia Eagles. The games will aim to build on the partnership by engaging with the team’s fans by offering them Eagles-themed casino games for the first time ever.
Unibet said the Eagles-branded slot game will launch later in the year.
Pennsylvania is T2nd on the Wedge Index just behind New Jersey as the most gaming-friendly state in the country.
PA promotions and free bets
It has announced record-breaking revenues for its operators, although the highly competitive nature of the industry has led sportsbooks to spend huge amounts in free bets and promotional bonuses in an effort to attract players.
How long they are able to operate at such levels is open to question. Barstool Sportsbook spent more than 325% of its revenue as promotional bets. DraftKings spent over 200% and Unibet more than 115% of its revenue as promotional bets.
The new games will be available on Unibet’s betting and casino mobile app and its dot PA website.
New gaming opportunities for fans
