DraftKings’ Bleacher Report Super Bowl LV tie-up

DraftKings has partnered with the Bleacher Report to target the Super Bowl with the launch of the B/R Drop Zone: DraftKings Big Game Prop Reveal.

DraftKings will preview its Super Bowl prop bets on the Bleacher Report’s (B/R) mobile app.

The bets will be up on Monday 25 January from 6pm ET, within 24 hours of the outcome of the NFL conference championships.

The show will also be live on the Bleacher Report’s YouTube and Twitter channels.

The Big Game Prop Reveal will feature experts and celebrity guests, interactive segments and fan giveaways.

It will offer advice and opinion on the most talked about and popular bets for the event.

The hosts will be Bleacher Report’s Cabbie Richards and Greg Ivory. They will join the group’s B/R Betting’s Kelly Stewart, DraftKings’ Head of Sportsbook Johnny Avello alongside celebrity guest Chad Ochocinco.

DraftKings is a top brand on the Wedge Index of gaming friendliness. Innovations along these lines help cement its position in state such as New Jersey and Pennsylvania where it is market leader.

$7bn wagered on Super Bowl LIV

The show will feature 40 different prop bets across five categories with special appearances by celebrity influencers.

There will be more than 200 prop bets for Super Bowl.

They will be segmented into categories such as Quick Hitters, Player Props, Exotic Props and Yes-No Props.

According to the AGA, an estimated 26 million Americans wagered nearly $7 billion on Super Bowl LIV.

Matt Kalish, co-founder and president of DraftKings North America, said the bets would add intrigue to “an iconic sports moment.”

“Prop betting is already a popular product for the NFL championship and appeals to all types of fans.

“Showcasing these markets within the Bleacher Report network for the first time helps enhance our offerings in 2021.”

The show’s creation is part of the multi-year agreement which made DraftKings the exclusive sportsbook and fantasy sports betting provider to the Turner Sports and Bleacher Report properties.

Bleacher Report has also seen significant engagement in its sports betting and football-related content.

Over the course of the season, its betting-focused vertical B/R Betting was the most engaged and most viewed social media account devoted to sports betting.

In the final weeks of last year’s football season, B/R marked a 46% increase in engagements across its channels, with 23 million fans visiting the B/R site and app.

“Super Bowl prop bets fuel a massive amount of the cultural conversation around the game.

“It’s exactly that type of off-the-field content that Bleacher Report does best and our audience craves.

“Our show will tap into this conversation, providing fans with a special event before the main event,” said Joe Yanarella, general manager of B/R Betting.
