BetMGM has launched live dealer casino games in New Jersey thanks to its partnership with Evolution Gaming.
The group said it was the only New Jersey-regulated casino group to currently offer live dealer games from both its own games library and that of live dealer specialist Evolution Gaming.
The games will also be available at BetMGM’s sister brands Borgata Casino and PartyCasino. BetMGM said it had also launched new online slots through partnerships with Playtech, Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC) and Ainsworth.
The launch of live dealer games will soon be followed in other states where they are regulated; as the products tend to attract higher spending players wanting a more personalised level of customer service and interaction.
BetMGM is a Tier 1 brand name on the Wedge Index, although the index itself will not be affected by the addition of live dealer products as the games on their own do not add points to a state’s gaming-friendliness.
They are however another sign that operators across regulated states are gearing up for more competition as regulation of the industry continues to spread.
For igaming brands competing for consumers in the early stages of the market they are also strong differentiators.
BetMGM will continue to launch casino content sourced from a wide range of suppliers via its GVC-powered in-house Games Studio, along with premium MGM-branded slot games and jackpots.
Early user data showed the new content to be highly popular with players.
In the first seven days following launch BetMGM’s live casino revenues increased by around 30% month-on-month and Evolution generated a third of total live casino stakes in New Jersey.
BetMGM is a JV between UK bookmaker GVC and MGM Resorts International.
